About: This unique and amazing restaurant located in Lima placed #39 on the world’s 50 best restaurants of 2025 list, and this accolade is deserved. With a tasting menu based off of ingredients found in the Peruvian portion of the Amazon, the chefs at Mayta bring unique and delicious flavors to every dish, while also keeping the dishes creative and distinct from one another, leaving behind an unforgettable experience. The non alcoholic drink pairings were also among the best I’ve ever had, adding to the experience – in addition to the delicious and unique food served.

About: Dining at Kjolle in Lima was an unforgettable expierience from start to finish. The menu highlighted many authentic Peruvian ingredients from all of the different parts of Peru, showcasing the countries incredible biodiversity. Every course was beautifully yet simply presented, pairing perfectly with the restaurants chique atmosphere. The service was attentive and knowledgeable (we also made friends with our waiter) and the meal felt delicious yet not too heavy. Kjolle is a must visit for anyone wanting to explore the ecological diversity of Peru through an innovative lense, leaving no question as to why it placed as the #9 restaurant on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025.

About: Although Osaka has locations in several cities around the world, its Lima restaurant is an excellent choice for experiencing Nikkei cuisine. The seafood was exceptionally fresh, and the extensive menu offered something for everyone. The ceviches and tiraditos were the highlights of the meal, with every variety we tried being outstanding. The hand rolls were authentic, expertly prepared, and packed with flavor, while the desserts were a perfect finish—creative, beautifully presented, and truly world-class. Whether you’re already a fan of Nikkei cuisine or trying it for the first time, Osaka is a restaurant that’s well worth a visit.
