About: Jack O’Neill’s is one of those places where the view is almost as impressive as the food. The beachside setting makes it feel instantly special, and even more so around sunset. The atmosphere is upscale without feeling formal, which makes it a great spot for a celebration or just a night out with family.
Knowing the history of its namesake- the famous surfer who created the wetsuit to prolong his time spent doing what he loves- definitely adds to the vibe. It makes sense that the menu is seafood based- with the scallops and halibut being standouts on the menu. The plating presentation felt elevated without being too complicated. Service was friendly and attentive, although it could be a little slow at times.
Overall, I’d definitely come back. Great food + incredible oven view + a beautiful atmosphere = a restaurant that’s worth the plunge.
