About: When writing this “in retrospect” review, panic set in when I saw Raw was temporarily closed…but then I remembered that Chef André Chiang changes his concept completely and yearly and relief set in. So inspired by this restaurant, the photo of me on my website is from the viewfinder at my table as the chef took me back in time to his childhood dishes and first foray into cooking as a younger chef. This meal was delightful , fun, and surprising at every turn. The menu was creative and the overall experience was perfect. I can’t wait to learn what he does next with “Raw Culinary Academy.”
